the green line sucks its dangerous one year the train went? of the track because the tracks were to old the train could have exploded

I use to live very very close to the sixty third street station near Ashland Avenue. I remember when the Sixty third street station was built. Many a time did we take this route to Downtown as? a child.

@tc41986…that is the world famous 58th st station, where my little 4 year old brother got off after getting left behind? downtown. LOL

@ranus69 It? all depends on the time of day and what line you are on. This I’m sure was a day where there wasn’t a large presence of people. Usually you will see 8 cars (max) on a train.

is that an abandon station at? 3:43? or does the CTA still do the skip stop?

@Amtrak1194 i ment to say 55, anyways like i said in your other video, my uncle operates cta trains and the fastest they can go is 60 mph or the speeding alarm will go off. ?

@Angel7black on the elevated the trains are? not permitted more than 40 at max but I’m not sure about the green line. (Green line is the southwest side and I live on the north side).

  13. Amtrak1194 says:

@ranus69 we do but its not like the subway its an elevated section running from the loop (center? of downtown) to the Howard transfer station where you can catch the Skokie shuttle or the Evanston trains. The Evanston line runs on the express tracks and shares with the Brown line for a stretch (evanston is purple, skokie shuttle is yellow). We run a max. of 8 cars in normal service. Perhaps you saw a weekend train with 4 cars.

  14. Amtrak1194 says:

@josephvanorsby78 Blue line trains are not allowed to? go more than 55 just like on any other CTA line and on Elevated they can not run at more than 40

  15. josephvanorsby78 says:

@Angel7black i say the blue line goes fastest, it goes 65mph on? the street, elevated, and subway and it goes through neiborhoods really close to houses like 3-5 feet away

I can’t believe Chicago doesn’t have? any express tracks like here in NYC and I thought they had more cars then the 4 cars i see in Chicago?

  21. uptowndc says:

Man, these subways literally cut through buildings and neighborhoods at such a close proximity. Here in D.C., our subway is about half underground and the rest either at? grade (on the surface) or elevated (but not through neighborhoods though)

  22. Angel7black says:

wow… i’ve mean on a Light rail in L.A. that moved faster? than this train…
is it just the green line that moves this slow? i’m a native new yorker and are trains seem to move way faster than this, no offense, maybe its just a bad line

  23. raves11 says:

did you see? ene gangs at king drive and cottigh grove

  24. howardkevinm says:

Eventually Chicago? will upgrade there tracks so they can actually go faster than 25mph down the track lol.

  25. Nekosys says:

    Chicago is nice? all around!!!!!!!
